		<description>Well, in fact, comparable diesel engines with LESS horsepower do take on petrols (with MORE horsepower), because of their much higher amounts of torque. You have to see what you compare, a 4-cyl. 2liter versus a V8 is not what you should do. Turbo lag ? Of course, but it is not mandatory to use the revs which cause turbo lag, you should look for usuable revs. Ironically, that is more a problem with petrol cars : wider rev bands, cause more difficulties choosing gears.</description>
